A FATAL ACCIDENT He stood for a moment more, a grey, empty feeling gripping him, and then settled himself on the bike and set off fast down the hill.As he rode again through the quiet village , he was planning what he'd do.He would ride back to near his house and leave the bike in a dark road that passed near the industrail astate.It would have to left there because there were few houses and therefore less chance of his being seen.It was either that, he thought , or leaving it in a car-park somewhere, trying to look as natural as possible. It had got colder, and the wind even penetrated his parka as he tried to wiegh up the advantages of the two plans for domping the honda.He was through the village and nearing the bend before the long straight.He changed down and took it slowly , then changed up and began accelerating.The wind increased, and his eyes filled withwater, especially when a sudden bump made him bite the end of his tongue.
